Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s son, Junaid Safdar, is set to marry into a well-known political family in Lahore.
According to reliable family sources, Junaid will be marrying the granddaughter of Sheikh Rohail Asghar, a senior leader of the Pakistan Muslim League (N) and head of a respected political household in Lahore. The bride is the daughter of Ali Rohail Asghar, son of Sheikh Rohail Asghar.

Both families have reportedly agreed to hold the wedding ceremonies in the last week of December or early January. The families are planning to conduct all traditional wedding rituals but are expected to keep the events relatively private, with only close relatives in attendance.
Sources further reveal that an initial family event has already taken place, attended by close members of both families. The final wedding date is expected to be announced soon.
